The outcome of a game never has much of an impact on your life. People who go psycho over a group of professional athletes playing for millions of dollars really do need to re-assess their lives.

Giving up one of your 3 outs in that situation is idiotic. A guy on 2nd with no outs is much better than a guy on 3rd with 1 out. Similarly, I really hate watching McKinstry get thrown out at 3rd by his stupid ass base running, especially to make the final out of the inning.

It's a good thing John Schneider took a guy who had been crushing the ball all night out of the game. Much rather have Kiner in there for a big at bat. Why do these managers always take out their best offensive players in close games? Proving once again that managers rarely make decisions that win games but sure do make decisions that contribute to losing games.

If the Dodgers can't win this at least they will have Skubal as their ace in 2027.

Aaron Glenn is probably the worst head coach in the league. He looks clueless on the sidelines. Not sure why he got a job in the first place but I'm happy he's gone.

In the 80s and 90s a lot of the pitchers playing back then wouldn't be in the league now. And the same is with most position players. I like it when people say stuff like imagine how valuable Tony Gwynn would be today. He would probably be a .275 hitter with no power... translation, he wouldn't be in the majors

Skubal is making the decisions. Boras isn't calling the shots. This isn't like colonel Parker and Elvis. Skubal has a good idea of where he would like to play and that is where he will end up or he has a list of places and will select based on the offers

Need 3rd baseman and DH badly. They could try one of their prospects at 2nd. Two middle of the pack starters and not guys that are injured and won't play ever.. that seems to be Harris's specialty. And not Chris Paddack level of garbage. You can live with Meadows in center even though he is a huge hindrance offensively. But he will get injured so they should have a 4th outfielder who can play center field decently. I'd prefer to keep Baez at SS rather than move him to the outfield. There aren't many humam beings on the planet that are in his class defensively, even though Hinch hates him for some reason. I'd like a new manager, but that isn't happening. I feel like he loses quite a few games with his overmanaging and his idiotic lineups. Not letting Carpenter hit against lefties until the very end of the season epitomizes his smartest man in the room syndrome. I don't feel like Colt Keith provides anything of value. He doesn't have the power that a DH should have and he might be the worst defensive player in the league, so he can't play a regular position. McKinstry is an adequate utility player, but, as seen, is less valuable as a starter. His baserunning is awful and gives outs away on the basepaths. Harris needs to step up and try to improve the team. He did very little last offseason and did virtually nothing at the trade deadline. Chris Ilitch needs to spend some money. And if they trade Skubal in the offseason they will basically be giving the fans the middle finger and saying we don't care about winning at all, which I believe they don't. Maybe everything will just work out next season like it did this season without any effort or hard work by Harris and the overmanaging by Hinch.

Baez has easily been the best player not named Skubal in the playoffs for the Tigers. I hate that he is hitting 9th. You really want Keith, Dingler, McKinstry, or Meadows getting a chance for extra bats than Baez

Imagine how many strikeouts Skubal would have tonight if he were on the Mariners and got to face the Tigers pathetic lineup.
