  1. https://www.mlb.com/milb/news/2025-mlb-draft-favorite-picks-pipeline?t=mlb-draft-coverage Tigers: River Hamilton, RHP (11th round) In the past, clubs had a night to figure out how much money they could use in Rounds 11-20, when only the overage on bonuses above $150,000 count against the pool. This year, they had an hour break. Detroit seems to believe it can find space for Hamilton, the 99th-ranked player on MLB Pipeline’s Top 250. The Oregon prep right-hander, who has an LSU commitment, is projectable at 6-foot-3, is already up to the mid-90s with his fastball and shows the makings of a solid slider and changeup.
  2. Just looked through the transactions and saw Owen Hall got moved to the 60-Day probably to open up some slots for signees but shoulder issues are always a concern with pitchers so I am guessing we won't see him again this year.
  3. I haven't seen anything; they may be waiting until after the signing deadline is passed which is 7/28 this year. My very broad guess is Yost is in the back half of the top 10 Oliveto is in the mid-teens and Dumesnil, Hamilton, Jacobs in the late teens early 20's range.
  4. Mitch Keller and Hayes do nothing for me regarding a playoff run. Bednar, sure he's signed through '27 and has a 12+ K/9. I'd probably trade Jung and Montalvo for him.
  5. He was ranked in the 50's with BA which I trust more so I was happy to see them pick him up.
  6. Surprised he got the full amount as a senior. I was expecting a underslot deal here.
  7. Here is an interview with him.
  8. FCL W 4-2 Dickson 0/4 3K Jimenez 2/4 RBI HR DSL Watch Cris Rodriguez 2/4 K SB Miranda 1/4 RBI 3K 2B
  9. I'd be shocked if Hall and Hamilton don't sign. Hall is signing for sure since he was drafted in the first 10 rounds.
  10. Well 13 Pitchers taken; I like seeing that they used their higher picks on position players. They went heavy on pitching last year, and as has been pointed out, a lot of them are on the shelf this year due to injury. When it comes to the draft I am always a proponent of picking talent over position, as you can always trade talent for talent to fill holes. Interestingly, they drafted 7 high schoolers and only one college senior this time around. I doubt they sign all 7 but based on the previous drafts you can tell they have a preference to prep player over college.
