OK it is the ASB so this is who I am hoping gets pushed up to the next level here soon with the potential of new draftees coming in as well. FCL-> Lakeland Angel De Los Santos (18) .300/.370/.488 with 19 steals Cristian Perez (19) .259/.373/.612 Ronald Ramirez (19) .354/.430/.532 Lakeland -> WM Beau Ankeny (23) .274/.348/.493 Edian Espinal (21) .299/.412/.423 WM -> Erie Bryce Rainer (21) .289/.398/.495 (Would honestly be okay with him staying in WM to work on K's but would also like to see them push him) Erie -> Toledo Peyton Graham (25) .297/.425/.427 Honestly the pitchers have not been doing great so they can all finish off their level 😅

I would be very surprised if they didn't end up signing him.

Biggest thing I'm seeing on X is that the NIL has really made this a weird draft even more so than the last few years.

Royals with a pretty large reach. They have had some interesting drafts in the past which haven't really helped them on the parent club. Must be looking to sign well below slot or something.

What a story for Valencia. Really a no name prospect last year in AA, healthy for the first time in a long time, adjusts his swing for more power and average and gets added to the 40 and now this year will be joining the big league club even if only for a little bit. -
No EV under 109 on all 5 🙃

Well he would fit in well with our other pitching prospects 😅

I don't mind taking a HS pitcher, just would prefer one that wasn't 19 already and had an internal brace surgery in his past.

Last year yeah, it'll be a long road back but maybe mid-August? -

https://www.mlb.com/milb/news/mlb-pipeline-2026-mock-draft-july-2?t=mlb-draft-coverage Pipeline updated in it's newest mock to Ruiz. I still really wish they would move the draft back to early June. I know they won't but still.

OK I am absolutely going to caveat this with the fact I have been holding out hope that he could pull it all together and I recognize that he is 25 and old for the level but Peyton Graham is having a season. He has a 6/7 game last night raising his BA to .294 after a slow start in April and May, he hit .324/.458/.500 in June. He also has 44 SB already. There is a new rule in the minors in which the pitcher only gets one throw over and it seems he is taking advantage. He has a BB rate of 15% and a K rate of less than 20. He has increased his LD and FB %'s this season as well while becoming less of a pull hitter. Someone to keep an eye on if they push him to Toledo with Peck.

Just as a reminder if Clark had gone to college he would just now be eligible for the draft. He is 5 years younger than the average player in the International League. His wRC+ is just shy of league average at 99. He has not faced a pitcher younger than him this year. Just trying to put into context expectations etc.

I can't tell if this is a joke or not? No way does Harris get let go. That bloated payroll drops off pretty heavily after this year.

Speaking of Cristian Perez he was a bonus baby back in 2023 who has seemed to start to put it together. He was quite young when they signed him but he was signed for about 1 million. He is 19 in the FCL so about the average age now but he is sporting over a 1.000 OPS. He is striking out about 1/3 of his at bats which isn't great but he is also walking about 20% of the time. A .275/.395/.637 slash line is pretty nice. I would love to see him get pushed up to Lakeland after the ASB.

This is going to sound dumb but I just hit enter or like next line on mobile and it populates. If I don't do that then I just get the link

Also Owen Hall with a solid 5IP 0ER and 6K, as we start to get some of these injured HS drafted pitchers back it'll be interesting to see if we can get some returns on that potential.

https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/06/top-35-trade-candidates-for-the-2026-deadline.html Of course, he’s a pure rental — Skubal isn’t signing an extension a few months in advance of what should be the largest pitching contract ever — but any team with legitimate World Series aspirations should be involved. Teams generally balk at surrendering top prospect talent for impending free agents, but players as good as Skubal don’t hit the market most years. Detroit should be able to net a top 25-50 prospect in the game as a headliner if they make him available. Agreed, I worry a lot of you will be disappointed with the return if you are throwing out 2-3 top 100 prospects. My expectations based on certain teams would be below: Dodgers: One of Sirota or Hope and then probably someone like Jackson Ferris and Chase Harlan Brewers: Lara, Andrew Fischer Toronto: Either Nimmala or Parker and Johnny King or Gage Stanifer I just don't see getting multiple top 50 prospects for half a year even for someone like Skubal. If we get that great but I would prefer to be surprised vs disappointed.
