  1. I don’t keep up on this stuff but did the rules change? When I sold software 20+ years ago we only charged sales tax for customers in Michigan because that’s where we had a physical presence.
  2. Maybe people can sell their FJB signs and flags.
  3. I've heard great things about the Oil Exchange Place near us. They own the garage next door. They were great before and they changed ownership and I've heard from a few that the new people are just as good.
  4. when I saw cover, I"m talking about a very small, symbolic even.... their press release made reference to "community". So like if they think their customers are unhappy then hey... they have no choice but to respond. I don't buy it at all. BUt it's there, on paper. It's worthless though. Anybody who falls for it is.... what words should I use? A dumb ****?
  5. Nextstar wants a purchase to go through. They need FCC approval. They see the FCC chairman doesn't like Kimmel. They band together and take Kimmel off their ABC affiliates over a trumped up charge. That gives them negligible, but non zero amount, of cover that it was some kind of "business decision". Because of that then ABC can claim that same non zero amount of cover to take him off "indefinitely" as a business decision because enough people were mad at Kimmel, for whatever reason.
  6. It’s the artificial intelligence of political analysis. “Just computing it boss”
  7. That’s not far from what they said at Nuremberg. Adults are the ones to distinguish between right and wrong, not just fall back on “legal and illegal”.
  8. Very courageous to stand behind the “well technically they probably can so I don’t see the issue here” argument isn’t it? I still haven’t learned what he said that was so problematic. Yes it does matter. Not some abstract bull**** that it’s just about making a boss happy.
  9. And Nextar has an $6 billion acquisition waiting on FCC approval. I guess they gotta please the boss and this is how they do it. https://www.nexstar.tv/nexstar-media-group-inc-enters-into-definitive-agreement-to-acquire-tegna-inc-for-6-2-billion-in-accretive-transaction/?fbclid=IwRlRTSAM4NxNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHrXEEt9e5fdZRJryvfYhmEXjkPqmLUH9lJSiM6lOny8zuUmO5p_hrPVGKK0t_aem_myGBhjWSVNeLK_eKEOomjA
  10. Size doesn’t equal intelligence. I’m still not convinced or understand what about his comments were offensive enough to justify this. MAGA are nothing but intellectual snowflakes.
  11. Yeah me too. It wasn’t until a few years ago I learned who it was. My wife knew. Which surprised me.
  12. This is making me sick to my stomach. I’m going Friday and Sunday. Is it even going to be fun by that point ?
  13. Can any of our resident maga sympathizers explain what was said that was a big deal. I know you are out there. I want to hear it.
  14. I got my playoff tickets yesterday. The wild card round seemed to be an afterthought.
  15. On my latest trips to TN the last year and a half I noticed one in Kentucky not long after I get back on the interstate. But it's right after the absolute best rest area so I never stop at it. The Kentucky Artisan Center is what it's called. https://kentuckyartisancenter.ky.gov/
  16. technically no. But it sure would feel nice. But it's baseball. They could get swept at home then go to CLE and sweep them there... again.
  17. that makes sense. Don't go against the grain but damn, pops, I'm busy over here and you are our largest single shareholder. I Have a memory of some kind of falling out between Sheila's husband and Jr. I think he was Jr's chief of staff at one point then was relegated to Then Henry Ford for work.
  18. I mean any theory's as good as the next but Jr had been around the team for a long time in what appears to be more that just symbolic.... then she takes more, puts the daughter in charge, and we get what we get. Personally I am buying my theory.
  19. In my readings of auto history the women were always pushed aside. They were to be seen and not heard. Meaning... the spouses. Martha's generation. They had to sit back and watch the men play around on them and host the parties and pay attention to the social hierarchy. Based on that I don't know if it's about Firestone as much as "the girls know what we're doing too and it's our time. The team is legally mine and you've got another job your dealing with.". I knew someone who worked in the offices. When Sheila took over they literally went down the halls pointing to people and firing them on the spot.
  20. it'll make me nervous.
  21. this is the start of either a very good week or a very bad week.
  22. Fred Lynn is one of those guys who never ages and looks like he could still play.
