  1. Whatever happens, Beau Brieske won't lose today. Good for him!
  2. Willi leaves a lot to be desired in his route running, but he does throw a damn good ball!
  3. Good Lord, get back to the game fellas
  4. Offense hasn't done much, but I will give it to them that they've had a decent approach and generally haven't chased much on Gausman's splitter. Gausman may also be a little off today, either way, credit where credit is due
  5. All it took for Javy to draw two walks in one game was to face the favorite for CY. Can't make it up!
  6. Because we are the Tigers and they are the Blue Jays
  7. They would be leading the Central with the Blue Jay lineup. No doubt about it.
  8. Miggy is also a veteran lol
  9. I really liked the approach for the first few batters. Probably won't like Javy's tho lol
  10. Roboumps yesterday Seriously, Brieske wasn't getting those calls
  11. Roboumps, like, yesterday
  12. Meadows has kickass sunglasses...
  13. Lol, Gibby talking about taking the governor off... Has he seen who is pitching for the Jays today?
  14. Victor plays acceptable outfield defense. Big distinction
  15. To be fair to the fans, it's fair to wonder about the confidence question as it pertains to Tork. Having said that, I trust AJ to know if / when that time comes.
  16. Good for the Giants? I guess the question I have for all the folks clamoring to send Tork down, aside from the fact that it's debatable that it would do anything at all for him developmentally, is who he gets replaced with. Miggy isn't starting in the field everyday, nor should they be moving one of the better second baseman in the league defensively to 1B most games. But if you do does that mean we get more Willi and Kody in the infield? None of that improves the situation at all. And I dont know what it does for Tork who, for all his struggles, doesn't appear to be lacking confidence.
  17. If Brieske can replicate what he did against NY, he may keep it respectable pitching wise. But I'm having a hard time seeing this club scoe runs against Gausman
  18. If you count his time in Salt Lake, Brendon Davis would be two fwiw Point still is well taken though
  19. I'm OK with this, even though Greene would have been the sexier pick.
  20. Would not be shocked to see him beat everyone's expectations, yet fall to 0-6 because the offense can't score runs against someone like Gausman. He's like a glorified Mike Maroth lol
  21. Bear in mind a clean sweep means getting rid of AJ and Chris Fetter. And a whole bunch of guys they hired from other (more successful) orgs in the offseason to revamp their minor league development team. (ie. Ryan Garko, Gabe Ribas, etc.) It's painful, and I'm certainly on board with canning Al, but they've also made a lot of changes within the areas you are complaining about within the past 12 months. And I don't think firing Ryan Garko or Gabe Ribas after just hiring them away from the Angels and Dodgers is a smart idea at all.
  22. Beau Brieske must feel cursed drawing this matchup.
  23. At least it will be a bat... this team has availed itself of 14 pitchers longer than it probably has needed to.
