    It has nothing to do with you. It's about the Tigers catching the Twins. With 2 days off left in the season, Hinch could reset the staff to give Skubal that extra start. The Baltimore games are easily the toughest remaining games. Olson coming back means less BP days...using Skubal against them is just an idea...

    The standings lie. We're actually 4 games behind the Twins because of the tiebreaker. With 17 games to go. We <could> catch them, I mean, how many games were we out 17 games ago? Around August 23rd?

    Must win. If we win, does anyone think it may be a good idea to give Skubal an extra day of rest and use him against Baltimore? Those 3 games are going to be a....challenge.

    Davenport....ugh. a lot of injury history. I hope he's OK to go.

    If it's a major leaguer, he would have to be team controlled for several years. Otherwise, just keep Skubal.

    Trump just said every single poll says he won the debate. Is this what they're telling him or is he just delusional? Maybe both?

    That's why I could see Skubal being dealt this winter. I don't want him to be dealt but his stock would be higher with 2 years of control and while he's healthy. Especially with the Tigers history of developing young pitchers and the reclamation of veteran pitchers. If we can get some "can't miss" prospects for him....

    The Tampa way. Talented players get too expensive? Trade them for prospects and always have fresh talent to replace them.

    Remember about 3 or 4 weeks ago when Parker Meadows got hot (longer?) and we said he couldn't possibly keep putting up those numbers? Well, he is. Against both LH and RH pitchers.

    May be the reason for their record. They didn't seem to put up much of a fight. Poor pitching, poor defense and no threats at the plate. In April. May and June, I said the Tigers will get shut out after scoring so many runs but these hitters are all hitting at once, the same as they were all slumping at the same time early in the year. Remarkable.

    The Rams had a pretty good game plan, mostly quick passes. Short but counting on yards after catch. It almost beat us with our missed tackles. I get the feeling Campbell decided to just play to our strength in OT. Just run the ball down their throat. He knows the strength of his team is the OL.

    I just saw the score of the Angels beating the Twins last night. The Tigers are 3 games out of the final wild card spot. Meaningful games in September!
