With all the additions the Tigers made, a .500 season would be a bit disappointing. With higher expectations, comes greater disappointment. So we need to win the division. 😆😆

Drafting in baseball is such a crapshoot. Taking a raw high school player or a college player who's a bit seasoned. It's why I love seeing a late round pick player make it.

Yeah, Lee explained it. I'm just glad it's not regular picks. Can you imaging if the Tigers traded away regular picks? It could have been a disaster.

At least it's only comp picks. Trading away draft picks is a good way to destroy a franchise in other sports.

Oh...that makes sense. Is it new though? I don't ever remember hearing about teams trading any type of draft picks.

But if Grossman is tearing it up and the Tigers are contending, we'll want to keep him. This move could be a serious improvement for us, maybe Chicago isn't going to walk away with the division?

And any team that picks him up can get him for the ML minimum? Angels would have to pick up the rest? Move Baddoo to CF and use him in LF? Or do we go with H. Castro, Haase or V. Reyes?

I haven't watched a single episode of Hard Knocks but I'll watch if the Lions are on it.

I think the Tigers need to find room for either Hill or Cameron. H. Castro may be able to play OF, but how good? Baddoo/Hass in LF, Greene in CF and Grossman in RF. Hitting Harold would be better off as a backup infielder.
