    You can never have too much pitching. The Free Press named about 5 or 6 possible free agents pitchers we could still sign.

    I agree. I would much rather see a professional hitter in the box than some pitcher that has a slim chance of even hitting the ball. Also, with the huge wages involved, I don’t want to see my pitcher trying to swing the bat or run the bases. It's a bit like watching paint dry.

    My list would start with Juan Gonzalez. He's far and away on top, nobody close. In a distant 2nd place would be Max Scherzer.

    I agree but more divisions means more artifical races that keeps fans interested. I hated the 1 game playoff, I hope it's gone.

    Let teams put 7 fielders standing in a line for all I care. It's stupid to try to make rules about the shift and its also lazy player development. Wanna get teams to stop shifting? Very easy solution, teach hitters to use the whole field. Hit it where they ain't.

    So if a SS dives for a ball near 2nd base, he better not go past some imaginary line or its considered a hit? Let them shift and start teaching hitters to use the whole field. That's one way to eliminate the defensive shifts.

    And maybe ban all the armor they wear. They get a bit too comfortable in the box. And if they're too injured to play, next man up.

    It's much more of a delay from the days of 2 and a half hour games. But yes, keep hitters in the box, no more constantly adjusting their batting gloves and other equipment.

    How about a one and half minute break between innings? Cut into their commercials. That's where the real delay is happening.

    Billionaires fighting millionaires on how to divvy up the fans money. I hope nobody goes to games and nobody watches on TV. Time for a salary cap and a ticket price cap.

    Maybe someday, the Lions will get a QB who's capable of winning in the playoffs. We had one but he had to go to a different organization to win.

    I was pretty confident even when the Rams first got the ball. Giving the ball to Stafford with the game on the line works out at times. And the entire offense seemed pretty determined.
