1/1/26 7:00PM Heat 18-15 @ Pistons 25-8

Miami matches up pretty well with Detroit. Similar style of play. And the beat coach. I tip my cap to them -
I'm beginning to think Harris' plan includes no pitchers get over 2 years and the starting rotation will consist of players under team control and perpetual patch work
-
Just watched Cleveland win in San Antonio by dbl digits. The Spurs have sloppy spurts. With OKC it's likely more about the match up. As for Cleveland, they are healthy now. They might go on a run
-
Unless you want to see Kawhi play a near flawless game. Might be a top 10-20 game I have ever seen
-
He has a player option close to 50 million. I don't see the Hawks getting much for him. Maybe an expiring and a lottery protected 1st
-
When he is healthy and focused Leonard is still a top 5 talent. That game was nuts. Cade scored all 27 of his points in the 2nd half. Hopefully they shoot better vs LAL
-
Dan Litwhiler. I'd never heard of him. Nice tribute https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1C7doJyeB3/

Jazz just beat the Spurs by 13 in San Antonio.

I think teams absolutely know going into Pistons games that Detroit is going to bring intensity and physicality, and that motivates them to bring something extra to match. Nobody is sleeping on Detroit. I see the evidence in post game comments by opposing coaches. Christie recently said he wants his team to "mirror" what Detroit brings.

Morgan was mt Rushmore during the mid 70s. So fun to watch. I felt the same about Rickey Henderson
-
Detroit just can't win in Utah. The Jazz played a very good game. Det had a chance.
-
That's close to Michael Curry's career totals
-
Just 2 weeks ago people were predicting OKC would win 75. Now I think I'd put SAS above them as the #1 team right now.
-
SAS and OKC could rule the NBA for years. Wemby is 21 and turns 22 next week. Castle just turned 21. Harper is 19. OKC has 672 lottery picks in the coming years. Hopefully Detroit will be seeing them in the finals soon, maybe even this season

I love fish and chips and get it often when eating out. Even fast food like Culver's has fish that's 1000 times better than long johns imho
-
Really nice praise post game from Doug Christie

There's a LJS in the mall of America 3-4 miles from my house. I've lived here 26 years and have never had their food
-
He has looked sluggish to me this week. I have some concern he may wear down by the end of the season. Adding a true consistent scorer would help
-
I watched it. I've been preparing for an OKC dynasty similar to GSW recent run. SAS is going to be right with them if Wemby stays healthy. The Spurs are crazy good. As decent a player as Holmgren is, Wemby is clearly on another level. And Wemby is starting to do some trash talking, which is fun to watch. Very confident player and he definitely backs it up. As soon as that game ended I watched the Pistons. Was impressed by Westbrook. Cade played well but I think he seems a little sluggish recently. I have some concern by the end of the season he may wear down. Harris sort of took over the closer role and it worked. Still seems that Detroit would greatly benefit by adding a legit gritty consistent scorer

Yeah, very fortunate. Portland missed so many FT and Det also had some luck on their side. Portland has some talent. Their energy and focus comes and goes too often. Big games for JD and JT -
Don't forget Festivus!!
-
Could be the case. He turns 26 in about 6 weeks.

Good point
