Even setting aside the fact that they are the only legacy team to not yet make the Super Bowl and it's been, in fact, 67 years since the last championship at all, this particular group of coaches and players are just so damn lovable. I remember the last time we thought there was a ghost of a chance we could go deep into the playoffs, I think it was 2011, and I was looking forward to having the country root for us as an underdog franchise, and Ndamukong Suh started acting out like a ****ing jerk, establishing himself as basically the dirtiest player in the NFL by stomping on that Packers player on TG of all games, and I thought, welp, there goes any chance that anyone outside Detroit is rooting for us.
