  1. We don't have to wait for her to come around. She showed in this very tweet she's on the regime's side concerning Jimmy Kimmel. She's just preemptively trying to protect herself and her own media empire here.
  2. Probably since ninth grade world history.
  3. We just look dead in the water now.
  4. Your serious benchmark for firing A.J. is whether he intentionally walks Jose Ramirez each and every time he comes to the plate? Makes it look like you're just looking for any excuse to dump him.
  5. Goodlordamighty.
  6. It’s that, but also, superhero movies do way better international numbers than taut political thrillers, historical dramas, or black comedies.
  7. I graduated from Bishop Foley with his daughter. His son went to Foley, too, weirdly. In fact, Rick Fracassa was a football hero at Foley. Anyway, 92 is a really good innings. Good on him.
  8. You could’ve stopped at “bet”. 😉
  9. 89X is back?! Sweet! I missed it when I moved back in 1992. It had just gone full time modern rock from the weirdo day/night format thing they were doing.
  10. Should be two men on and one out, instead we were a decent throw away form a strike ‘em out-throw ‘em out.
  11. What are the chances Swalwell gets hammered for making verbal threats against administration officials?
  12. Man, nothing was coming easy for Skubal until that fifth inning.
  13. Honestly, I think the idea of Nexstar removing Kimmel from their affiliates to court government approval of their purchase is just as bad on its face as them removing Kimmel from their affiliates because the government explicitly demanded them to.
  14. Isn’t the problem that Trump was electable after all?
  15. Don’t you know winks mean kidding?
  16. My guess is that Scott Harris believes Verlander would be a suboptimal culture fit for this team.
  17. So become you. Got it. 😉
  18. Look, let’s be clear about what happened: Jimmy Kimmel was taken off the air because the Trump regime didn’t like what he had to say, and threatened his employer until they shut Kimmel up. It wasn't that Kimmel was fired because he "pissed off his bosses." It wasn't because he used any "magic words". It wasn't because he "celebrated" anyone's death. He merely offended the regime, the regime pressured the network with business penalities, the network complied. It was nothing short of an attack on a basically principle of democracy. It can't be any simpler or more complex than that.
  19. Can the commission interfere with the right of free speech by means of [over-the-air] broadcast communication if the speaker pisses his boss off?
  20. Oh yeah, I totally remember when Chuck Schumer got Tucker Carlson fired.
  21. So to recap: Charlie Kirk, media personality: political assassination, fly flags at half-mast. Melissa Hortman, Minnesota state legislator: not a political assassination, leave flags alone. Do we have that straight?
  22. It was legal in Germany once.
  23. I promise that if in an alternate universe Fox News were was the liberal channel and Brian Kilmeade said anything on it the regime didn't like, that would definitely threaten the Fox broadcast network with license revocation unless they fired Meade, whether he said it on cable or not. And deny it if you like, but you know that's true.
  24. Didn't "The View" already do that at 9AM?
