    I didn't see the game, but Veleno's stat line looked decent for how little ice time he got. 4 SOG, 3 blocked shots and 4-of-5 on faceoff wins ain't too shabby in just over 13 minutes. 3 giveaways is not great, though. Only he and Larkin were above 50% on faceoffs.

    I'm pulling for the Gribe to take it all. From here on out, they'll get the exact same treatment from the sports media that the Tigers would've, and I want them to shove it in all of their faces.

    The thing that sucks is that I'm not sure how solid our "core" really is, and this team could just as easily finish fourth in the division as it could first next year. Part of me has felt that if they couldn't do it this year that it might be another 10+ years before they get another shot. Still a really fun 2nd half of Tiger baseball.
