I never said the officers in both situations responded the same. What you seem to be implying is that Beto and Padilla did exactly the same thing and that's what blows my mind. Padilla was wrong for barging into a press conference and shouting and screaming and causing a scene. He was in violation of the law when he started resisting law enforcement. It was all done to illicit a response and he got exactly what he was looking for. This is no different than those times a member of Congress shows up somewhere, demands entry, gets rebuffed and then runs to social media to play victim. It's all stupid ass political theater and it annoys the **** out of me, no matter which side does it.
