Nobody said it was but that doesn't mean you just ignore the rules and let people come across the border illegally and then stay even after being caught and identified as being here illegally.  Maybe Democrats should have actually worked on immigration reform when they had the chance.

Well in 2013 68 senators passed the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013. John Boehner refused to bring it up for vote. Obama did work on immigration and once again republicans blocked it.

Yes, 60 days is not enough time to pass two pieces of major legislation.

You're right, nobody is allowed to care about illegal immigration unless they are literally on your front lawn camping out and stealing your electricity.  Absolutely ridiculous take, bro. 

The bottom line is that there isn't a country on the planet that doesn't have immigration laws.  Stop defending each and every person in the country illegally and maybe another convicted felon won't be elected in 2028.

The process for legally immigrating to this country has been badly broken for years, and it is part of the reason that we find ourselves where we are currently. Somehow this gets lost in all the punitive focus on "they did it the right way" or whatever.

Of course, none of what is happening is about illegal immigration really, because as far as the guy running Trump's immigration policy is concerned (ie. Stephen Miller), pretty much all immigration is bad. Particularly for those immigrating who don't share his same level of melanin.

Those jackwagons want us to believe that paying ladies five hundred bucks for birthing white babies is going to solve the problem of Social Security old age pension shortfalls. Maybe even they themselves believe it.
