That's OK, they only run this kind of thing in the morning when the red hats are busy listening to Mark Levin. It's Fox's way of sanewashing their news-adjacent opinion operation. I promise you this story would never appear after 5pm.

This f'ing guy

It’s only about Making the Announcement with this f’ing guy. Making the Announcement is easy and fun. It’s grandiose and attention-grabbing. It makes him the most important man in the world in the moment. And in today’s attention economy, Making the Announcement is practically cost-free, because the news cycle changes so often and completely that the Announcement recedes into the background while we cats chase the pointer somewhere else, so he never pays the price for Making such a stupid Announcement. But just like all sugar rushes, there’s diminishing returns to how high we all get off him Making the Announcements. And the hangover we all get from all this when it’s all over is gonna be sooooo bad.

I am seeing that this was generated with AI tools.   I understand Tea Pain was saying that the Confederate States had 11 stars which Trump...yeah...etc.   Still, what is it with simpletons and AI tools?

Trump relies on his targets settling to avoid getting buried in lost time and legal costs. It's a reasonable solution for them that is technically neutral, but in reality makes them look guilty. The BBC is different. As part of the British government they have the resources to bury him, if they so choose. The first order of business would be getting the case dismissed as being out of jurisdiction (BBC does not operate in Florida and the piece did not air in the US), and then, daring him to sue them in the King's Bench.

Quote

When in the course of human events a tyrant imperils a nation, it is the duty of those who cherish democracy to remove him from power.

We the People refuse to tolerate a despot who threatens our country and the world.

--He has engaged in corrupt schemes to profit from his office, plunder the Treasury, and steal from the taxpayers.

--He has desecrated the People’s House and the nation’s capital.

--He has perverted the Department of Justice to take revenge on his perceived enemies.

--He has vandalized the federal government, replacing experienced professionals with incompetent sycophants.

--He has deployed a domestic army of masked thugs to terrorize, torture, and kill.

--He has shredded aid for those most in need, at home and abroad, spreading hunger, sickness, and death.

--He has betrayed the nation’s allies and collaborated with its foes.

--And he has committed war crimes, ordering unprovoked attacks on foreign countries, targeting civilians, and massacring children.

We reject him and his enablers.

They must be held accountable and brought to justice.

And such tyranny must never contaminate this nation again.

Today we vow to set the United States on a new course.

To eliminate racism, sexism, and inequality.

To embrace honesty, empathy, and kindness.

To form a more perfect Union.

I doubt seeing and talking with the victims of his cuts would cause even a momentary twinge of regret.

Is this guy about anything other than money, and producing children? Does he have any interests, hobbies, anything at all that makes him happy? Has he ever looked out the window and stopped to look at a beautiful view?

My guess is no.

Trump was at the dedication of the Theodore Ford Presidential Museum. Perhaps if he did chat with the dead President maybe he should have asked him how he feels about the country's chief executive destroying National Parks in the west. Drill Baby Drill

Teddy and Donald would not have gotten along because at his core DJT is a fraud and coward.

Defense Meritorious Service Medal. Meritorious Service Medals. Joint Service Commendation Medal. Years of service to this country and to our allies.

You can agree or disagree with his protest. That’s your right.

But rewriting his record, questioning his patriotism, or pretending he hasn’t devoted much of his adult life to serving the United States would be a lie.

His service happened. His sacrifices happened. His character was built long before today’s headlines. We should support his purpose.
