They would’ve won had they gone to court but LSU and the governor ran into a curveball they didn’t see coming.   Even though he didn’t rep Kelly, super agent Jimmy Sexton stood up for his industry and told them they weren’t getting any of his clients, including Lane Kiffin, if they didn’t honor the contract.

Today's game against Georgia was supposed to be a home game for Georgia Tech.  They sold it for $10 million.  It will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, so it will still be in Atlanta.

A&M in some trouble.  Texas up 10 at the start of the 4th.

Looking at the SEC standings, Texas is the only team with a winning record in the conference that A&M played.

A thought I had about the byproduct of these larger football conferences. While the odds are probably on the outsides of the bell curve, there are going to be instances of this happening.  To date, Ohio State has played Washington on the road and a bunch of meh.  Granted, Penn State and Wisconsin are having gutter years, but their conference schedule has been soft.

On the flip side, I can’t remember who it was, but maybe it was Florida that was staring at 4 ranked opponents in a row in the middle of the season.
