This is why I’ve warmed to the ghost runner. 16 inning game in World Series? Classic. 16 inning game in June between the Marlins and Padres? Excruciating.

But I’m not really hoping for that. I don’t wish that upon either of these clubs. But it would be quite a spectacle.
