Toledo bullpen being pillaged.....

Saw an article that Seelinger is a Long Island kid and he stands a chance to make his MLB debut at age 31 with his childhood team.  That’s not a bad personal story for a guy that’s bounced around the affiliated minors and independent leagues.

I think so. WM doesn't have a good record so not much reason to keep him there.

That's what I was thinking as well and frankly with him starting in A ball and struggling early getting experience at AA would be a great result for this season.

RH 1B Beau Ankeny is pushing for a promotion to high A. Coming off a .316/.366/640 June..posting a .419/.471/806 line for July.  He's a 23 year-old 2025 draftee...you would think they would move him pretty aggressively given his age

He’s the only guy that can legally buy beer for his teammates.

OK it is the ASB so this is who I am hoping gets pushed up to the next level here soon with the potential of new draftees coming in as well.

FCL-> Lakeland

Angel De Los Santos (18) .300/.370/.488 with 19 steals
Cristian Perez (19) .259/.373/.612
Ronald Ramirez (19) .354/.430/.532

Lakeland -> WM
Beau Ankeny (23) .274/.348/.493
Edian Espinal (21) .299/.412/.423

WM -> Erie
Bryce Rainer (21) .289/.398/.495 (Would honestly be okay with him staying in WM to work on K's but would also like to see them push him)

Erie -> Toledo
Peyton Graham (25) .297/.425/.427

Honestly the pitchers have not been doing great so they can all finish off their level 😅

Because I know you all are clamoring to know how the big 2026 IFA signings are doing here is a quick SSS update.

Manuel Boliver (C) - .342/.447/.421
Randy Santana (OF) - .237/.442/.368
Oscar Tineo (SS) - .231/.373/.333

This is a 13-15 game snapshot so far but Boliver seems to be as advertised.

Well here is another check-in about a month later. Adding in Tusen because well he's been on fire and he signed for 400K so not a small amount.

Manuel Boliver (C) - .338/.443/.513
Randy Santana (OF) - .238/.398/.425
Oscar Tineo (SS) - .268/.370/.354
Eduardo Tusen (SS) - .327/.368/.579

We'll see what happens when/ if they get stateside. That's always the difficult test.

So... C'mon over guys!!! (All 4 of them just for starters. Speaking of which... how are our international pitcher signees, still outside the US, doing?)

Thanks also for keeping tabs...!

McDaniel on the ESPN app has an updated top ten...Flukey is in at 5 and Sears is now 10.  Jacobs and Cris Rodriguez are two that were cited as being just out of the top ten

Interesting that Briceno is #2.

Yeah, that doesn’t make sense to me at all.  I also don’t get Witherspoon ahead of Jacobs.

And I still think people are undervaluing Liranzo.  I’d rank him above Oliveto for sure and probably Anderson-but likely have Jacob’s ahead of him.  Liranzo is still very young for AA and was right around an .800 OPS with improved defense before getting hurt.  He’s considerably ahead of where Dingler was offensively at 2-3 years younger and from the reports I’ve seen is becoming an average-above average catcher.  I’d probably have him ahead

I have a different take than “interesting” 😉

Many in this forum could have provided a better ranking.

And I look like a fool as i missed they Kiley had Liranzo 4th.  Likely a bit higher than I would have him, but I get it with him.

I like where Liranzo is at but... I believe Flukey should be ranked ahead of him.

Personally, I would have Flukey 3rd, ahead of both Briceno and Liranzo:

Rainer-Clark-Flukey. As can be seen: I am also putting Rainer ahead of Clark.

That's not a knock on Clark. IMO, I think Rainer has a higher level of bat (both power and BA); Clark a higher level of fielding/ position difficulty than Rainer. And I expect Rainer to end up at 3rd when he gets to Detroit.

Really, those two could be 1A and 1B... and I guess it doesn't even matter which is which.

Just sayin'... I think I'm on the Rainer Bandwagon just ever so slightly higher than the Clark Bandwagon.

Personally, I agree with everything here.  I too would probably put Rainer ahead of Clark, which says a lot about Rainer.  His last 2 months have made that move for me, showing the first 2 month and a half was more of an adjustment back from injury.  I also would put Flukey ahead of Briceno and Liranzo.  Again, not that much against them, but more for what he projects to be, and quickly.  Briceno needs to get a few months back from injury, and the same for Liranzo.

Liranzo need to get past AA.

He's a .210 hitter in Erie both this year and last year.

It's a tough test of his hit tool.

He did have close to an .800 OPS until the last week before he went on the IL and is currently at .772.  The power is there.  And he just turned 23.

Dingler had a .752 OPS at Erie the year he turned 24 in September (and hit .238).
