Who were the Brewers' "Beer League" players from the 70's & 80's?

Gormon Thomas? George Scott?

I thought they had some guys in worse shape than those two...?

Rob Deer might have fit that profile.    Molitor and Yount were obviously good athletes.   The guy I did noy enjoy watching was Ben Oglivie.  The Tigers traded Oglivie to the Brewers for pitcher Jim Slayton.   Slayton returned to the Brewers one year later as a free agent and Oglivie went on to have several good seasons in Milwaukee.

Boog Powell and Harmon Killebrew...the list is long. Players who appeared unathletic but could crush the ball...

Yet Harmon is reportedly the batter in the MLB logo
