lordstanley Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago Skinner’s only 26, he has potential. I agree though that at the moment net continues to be Edmonton’s weakest link. Bouchard is no Quinn Hughes, but from #10 overall in that infamous draft he is way better than Zadina. Quote

Zadina used to have the occasional game where he was active enough that you knew he was one the ice. Just not many. Quote

Shinzaki Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I recall the talk being around Bouchard or Dobson ...I wonder if Zadina "falling" to them handcuffed them a bit. Most people thought he was going to be top 3 for certain, did Kenny and the boys scout him as heavily as they might have scouted the guys that were ranked a little lower? Quote

slothfacekilla Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago All the chatter I've seen about that draft is that if Zadina hadn't fallen the Wings were taking Bouchard and not Hughes. Quote
lordstanley Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Of all teams, why did Hughes have to be picked by the Canucks. It has been the bane of my existence, brought up on a monthly basis by Canucks fans here I barely even know. As if it's some breaking news revelation that, yes, we should regret picking Zadina over Hughes. Duh. And none of them are aware that, as mentioned in this thread today, the pick was likely never going to be Hughes anyways. Quote
