This game reminds me of my first season of MLB the Show when i did it on beginner level.

A lot of these balls for the Tigers are just falling in the right place, so some of this is due to the fact the Tigers are good. Some of it is due to the fact of what the medievals  referred to as “fortune” and fortune has the habit of turning on a dime for no particular reason at all, but I would be surprised if that bad version of Fortune will be expressed in this game.

There is literally a 0% chance Skubal pitches. They would have their position players throw 300 pitches before they have Skubal pitch.

They cannot have Mize and Skubal on the same day pitching schedule, one of them would then have to pitch on short rest to reset that.

Yup. The only reason people thought it was the original matchups for this series was Olson, Mize followed by Skubal. The rainout messed that up. And I'm fine with that, I would rather see Skubal pitching in Detroit against Texas.

In the previous innings, the Tigers were hitting them where they ain’t, but in this top of the fifth, the Tigers were hitting them where they is. That’s baseball.

This is about the 4th game on this trip where we coulda used Maeda. In a good way....way ahead.
