romad1 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago This game reminds me of my first season of MLB the Show when i did it on beginner level. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago A lot of these balls for the Tigers are just falling in the right place, so some of this is due to the fact the Tigers are good. Some of it is due to the fact of what the medievals referred to as “fortune” and fortune has the habit of turning on a dime for no particular reason at all, but I would be surprised if that bad version of Fortune will be expressed in this game. IdahoBert Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Well, I got my nine runs. Am I still allowed to be online? Quote

And...it'll be a Tiger blowout win and we'll only use mopup relievers. With the Tigers not officially naming Montero the game 2 SP, you just never know. There is literally a 0% chance Skubal pitches. They would have their position players throw 300 pitches before they have Skubal pitch. They cannot have Mize and Skubal on the same day pitching schedule, one of them would then have to pitch on short rest to reset that. Quote

RatkoVarda Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago goodness, Javy's such a good player. no one thought he would be this impactful Quote

IdahoBert Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Carpenter is the only guy in the lineup without a hit yet. Quote

The only reason people thought it was the original matchups for this series was Olson, Mize followed by Skubal. The rainout messed that up. And I'm fine with that, I would rather see Skubal pitching in Detroit against Texas. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Mize w/50 in 4. Giving as much of the pen as possible a rest would be really cool. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago In the previous innings, the Tigers were hitting them where they ain’t, but in this top of the fifth, the Tigers were hitting them where they is. That’s baseball. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago 9 runs and resting Greene and Dingler. Almost time to pull some regulars and get them ready for game #2. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It would be nice if we could get a couple more innings out of Casey, but they probably have to be pretty fast innings. Quote
