The Orioles were supposed to be where the Tigers are this year. They now occupy the bottom of the AL East. they are 1 win ahead of CWS which seems impossible. right after Elias fires Hyde, he should launch and investigation to see who the heck signed FOUR free agent pitchers over 35, and brought back Gregory Soto! maybe he is too busy shining the plaques from Baseball America Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Re-watching the bottom of the ninth of last night‘s game and I really admire Alex’s Cora’s time out to buy time to dispute what Ibanez did at second base. Playing all the angles you can. Cool. Maybe changing catchers was a bad idea but he had a reason to pull Narváez for a pinch runner. Then there’s the throwing error Then Javy pops up and J-Hen comes up to win it as AJ plays all the angles in his own way by inserting two guys made for this role in this game. What a game. Quote

Can anybody stop the Minnesota blanking Twins? BALTIMORE -- A scary moment occurred for the Twins in the series finale at Camden Yards on Thursday afternoon as shortstop Carlos Correa and center fielder Byron Buxton, two mainstays of Minnesota’s lineup, collided on a flyout in shallow center field in the bottom of the third inning. Correa exited after a lengthy injury delay as both players were attended to. He was replaced in the batting order by Jonah Bride, who took over at first base while Kody Clemens moved to second base and Brooks Lee moved to shortstop. Quote
