Sports_Freak Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I wouldn't mind if the WSox have to start using position players to pitch starting in the 6th inning or so. Quote
chasfh Posted June 5 Posted June 5 That’s the second time in two nights one of the White Sox baserunners took off and got picked off while the pitcher was holding the ball on the mound. Quote

He could have held the ball just a little longer and Tork doesn't have to make a throw, but pretty close to played exactly right. Quote

chasfh Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Do you guys know who Brooke Fletcher is? She’s with the new Chicago Sports Network now. I just looked her up, and it says she worked with Bally Sports Detroit. I don’t really remember her. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I love the way SLG walks back up the mound after he misses with a pitch looking like he nothing but contempt for that baseball. Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 5 Posted June 5 so I got interrupted by the fact that the four apartments on the far end of my apartment building caught fire. The top two were gutted out and the bottom two are probably going to be condemned. I didn’t suffer any damage, but I don’t have any water working, which is a drag. Seven years ago my building which is directly behind this one burned down, but once again, my half of the building didn’t suffer any damage. So I guess you could say I’m “lucky.“ 1 2 Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I heard a lot of noise and commotion out my front door, but I have no windows in the living room facing the front so finally, there was such a clatter I decided to go out and there were eight fire engines in front and flames pouring out of the apartments on the far end. That's really scary. Someone else's carelessness could put you at risk. Glad you're OK. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 5 Posted June 5 It was a kitchen fire just like my building behind this one when it burned down seven years ago, somebody left something on the stove and everything caught fire. Quote
