Time to sit Carps for Perez and Tork for keith. Carp has done nothing since the 3 homer game and Tork is just being himself. Back to normal crappiness.

Play guys who are performing

That works for me...

Finesse pitchers? When they aren't on and have to throw not so great fastballs in fastball counts?

Maybe. Maybe it’s random, too. Either way, it’s weird that we are now 7-6 in our last thirteen games, and four of those six losses were by blowout with the other two only one run each from themselves being considered blowouts.

It looks like Petry Daniella and Jason are going to kill time between now and the start of the game. Right now they’re talking about the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

I gotta tell ya, I like the rain delay conversation in the booth. Saw it yesterday, too. It works.

Thursday's seemed better than Friday's, I liked them bringing Bobby Scales into the fold.  But good work on the fly by all.  Petry fiddling around with his glove and baseball on Friday had some charm to it.

They're clowning the Tigers right now.

This series seems ripe for it.  The long day on Thursday ending with some sour notes.  Traveling into Tampa later then expected.  Then the delay to begin this game and the poor result from it.  Game two of the series will be an early game after this night game.  And then Sunday will be a getaway game into a day off, which might end up being a let's just get through this game and get home kind of deal.

All of the top teams in baseball have endured extended losing streaks this season with the exception of the Tigers. It might just be our turn.

The Tigers have lost 3 in a row now.  Last season, the Dodgers lost 5 in a row and the Yankees lost 4 in a row.  Ain’t time to panic.

The Yankees lost 6 in a row just this week!
