Deleterious Posted Sunday at 05:57 PM Posted Sunday at 05:57 PM Negotiations can start tonight at 6PM. So starting this thread a few days early so all the posts are in one spot instead of mixed between two threads. Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 06:25 PM Author Posted Sunday at 06:25 PM Sources told you he will pick one of the two options available to him? Sources told me the coin will land on heads, or it could land on tails. 1 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted Sunday at 07:11 PM Posted Sunday at 07:11 PM Lebron picks up his 52.6 million dollar player option. Not surprising but just had to point it out cause this will make his 8th season for the Lakers which is wild for me, he only played for Cleveland for 7 his first go around there. Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 08:40 PM Author Posted Sunday at 08:40 PM He still had to say he is evaluating his LA future. Because he is a dramatic little bitch that always has to keep his name in the headlines. 1 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 08:41 PM Author Posted Sunday at 08:41 PM Don't be shocked if deals announced today or tomorrow are not completed until after July 6th when the new season starts. Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 08:45 PM Author Posted Sunday at 08:45 PM One of these guys need to change their names. I thought he just gave OKC the greatest home team discount ever. Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 08:51 PM Author Posted Sunday at 08:51 PM Kid has only played 1 year and 36 games. Hard to argue with anything Presti does, though. Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 08:55 PM Author Posted Sunday at 08:55 PM I read that Boston is looking for a return on Derick White similar to what Brooklyn received for Bridges. Seems about right to me. He can be that missing piece for a contender. Quote
Deleterious Posted yesterday at 12:24 AM Author Posted yesterday at 12:24 AM Same deal Reid got. Smith is a bit worse on offense, better on defense, probably. These deals look huge. But with the rising cap, that is only 16% of the cap this year. Max for a guy his age is 25%. Quote

Deleterious Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Cleveland starts in 2028, Detroit in 2029, Philly in 2030. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago The Shock were very successful in Detroit. I remember when they sold out The Palace. Jared Goff is a minority owner of the new team. Unfortunately, Gores is a majority owner. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Point of reference. The Pistons sold the Shock for $5 Million in 2009. The Dolan Family sold the Liberty for $215 Mil in 2019, claiming they couldn't turn a profit. Now these franchises are going for $250 Mil. ???? Quote
Deleterious Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago The WNBA team is going to play at LCA. Probably better off playing at Wayne State and moving big games to LCA. By big games, I mean when Caitlin Clark is in town. Quote

buddha Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago my 10 year old got school tickets to a wnba game. my wife took her - there is no way i'm going to a wnba game - and she said it wasnt that bad. she doesnt get offended by bad basketball like i do. but the place was 3/4 full and my wife described the crowd as "what you'd expect for the most part: dykes and tykes." not that there's anything wrong with that! when caitlin clark comes to town the place sells out. fwiw, the players were all very nice to the kids. good to see. Deleterious Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago Nice deal for the Nets. I think he has a little more upside than his numbers have shown. Quote
