Tork seemed out of position to me. like when it was time for McKinstry to throw to him, he was way off to the side instead of in the runner's path.

Tork was only out of position because you saw where he was so late in the rundown. He moved to close the distance. McK had all kind of time and distance to throw it, he just chose not to.
