lordstanley Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM Tork with a long sac fly. 4-3. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM Tork sac fly that sounded like it was almost more Quote
Tigermojo Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM I thought it was another two strike Tork bomb. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 01:09 AM Posted Saturday at 01:09 AM Well, they’re coming back. They have a tendency to do this. They’re never out until the last out. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 01:29 AM Posted Saturday at 01:29 AM That homer to Raleigh was bound to happen, no shame in that, although it’s a drag Quote

IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 01:41 AM Posted Saturday at 01:41 AM Well that didn’t take too long Quote
Hongbit Posted Saturday at 01:44 AM Posted Saturday at 01:44 AM (edited) The Carlos Hernandez experiment needs to end. It’s ridiculous at this point that he’s taking Dylan Smith’s roster spot. Edited Saturday at 01:45 AM by Hongbit 1 Quote

Tigerbomb13 Posted Saturday at 01:44 AM Posted Saturday at 01:44 AM Can we please end the Carlos Hernandez experiment? 1 Quote
HugoD Posted Saturday at 01:45 AM Posted Saturday at 01:45 AM Really need to take next two games now. Quote

I can’t think of any reason to put him in when they are hanging by a thread. Seems like earlier this year I heard Hinch say something to the effect that you always have to think about today’s game and let tomorrow take care of itself. Didn’t seem to apply here. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 01:52 AM Posted Saturday at 01:52 AM Well at 8–3 I’d say this game is out of reach even for the comeback Tigers. And there’s still aren’t any else yet. I was hoping this game would be one of those “representation“ games for bragging rights, but bragging is for the insecure. Quote
papalawrence Posted Saturday at 01:53 AM Posted Saturday at 01:53 AM Corn-laden poop. Flush this and move on Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 01:55 AM Posted Saturday at 01:55 AM I was going to beg that Raleigh not hit a grand slam and I’m glad I didn’t. I only thought it I didn’t write it down. This is a major shellacking. Quote
wolverinefan Posted Saturday at 02:02 AM Posted Saturday at 02:02 AM Jake Rogers in to pitch and immediately performs better than the two pitchers before him. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted Saturday at 02:04 AM Posted Saturday at 02:04 AM I think it's safe to say Swing & Miss by the Tigers with Carlos Hernandez. It might be the only time we associate the term Swing & Miss with him. I'm actually glad this is the game they put on Apple TV. I didn't have to experience it. Quote
HugoD Posted Saturday at 02:05 AM Posted Saturday at 02:05 AM (edited) I know it’s a long season, but this highlighted some concerns - at least wrt thinking this team is a juggernaut. The bullpen is leaking oil and offense lacks some reliable stars. A team of try hards is fun, but won’t win you a WS. Probably should be happy with 90 wins, Lord knows that seemed very far away a year or so ago. Edited Saturday at 02:07 AM by HugoD Quote
GalagaGuy Posted Saturday at 02:06 AM Posted Saturday at 02:06 AM Mariners were really mad about last night it seems. Quote

I think on this one, Chris Fetter crashed the car like Jeff Spicoli and, surveying the damage proclaimed he had access to this ultimate set of tools and said "I can fix it". Great Pitching Coach. But some things can't be fixed. Can't wait to see what PJ Poulin can do. Quote
