lordstanley Posted July 27 Posted July 27 2-0 Jays and, to make it worse, you can hear the Jays fans cheering it. Quote
ICroupier Posted July 27 Posted July 27 This team is cooked. Sell at the deadline. Trade Flaherty again. Move Torres to clear way for one of our dozen MI youngsters. But I truly hope they see this season as I horrifically botched opportunity, learn from it, and come back actually ready to compete next season. Quote

I'm guessing Toronto is happy they didn't Passan just last month. https://heavy.com/sports/mlb/toronto-blue-jays/trade-idea-bo-bichette-tigers/ Quote
Terrible1345 Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Might as well let Meadows, Sweeny and me hit in the 9th 1 Quote
lordstanley Posted July 27 Posted July 27 I think Nick Kurtz produced more offense last night than the entire Tigers team has in the 9 games since the All Star break. 1 Quote

Adullin Posted July 27 Posted July 27 What are they doing? Ok drinking game take a shot for every good pitch the Tigers waste. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Imagine the haul we could get if we traded Skubal right now. Quote
Terrible1345 Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Sure…why not. They weren’t likely to score a run anyway so might as well blow it out. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted July 27 Posted July 27 I'm glad tomorrow is a morning game so I'm not tempted to watch a sweep. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 27 Posted July 27 The guys who overperformed last year and came back from injuries have underperformed. The guys who overperformed earlier this year have stopped performing. The pitching doesn’t even deserve to be called “erratic,“ it’s just plain bad. I’m not sure bouncing back to mediocrity is even possible now. None of this makes much sense. It just seems unreal. 1 Quote
romad1 Posted July 27 Posted July 27 I stopped even checking after I saw Skubal was out with the game tied. I come here first because I want bad news to come from family. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 27 Posted July 27 At least somebody got six runs. Basically the way it works now is that all our all our base belong to whomever we play. Quote
Tigermojo Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Remember the good old days when the Tigers were doing this to opponents? Like three or four weeks ago... Quote
