Sports_Freak Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Johnny Kane interviews during a game arent just pointless, they're also meaningless and stupid. 1 Quote

IdahoBert Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The Tigers can’t seem to hit anybody except the Yankees. Quote
lordstanley Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago So many times when the ball leaves the bat I think the Tigers have a hit, and then it turns out a fielder is right there. Quote
lordstanley Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 1-1 after 6. Way too close for comfort now. Quote
tiger2022 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Skubal did his job, now it's time for the bullpen to come in and walk a bunch of Guardians. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Of course Ramirez homered. If he could, he’d steal a base during a homer. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Hinch should be fired for pitching to Jose Ramirez. How many times does the same thing need to happen before you adjust? 30? I’m not kidding either. It’s inexcusable. Walk him. Every time. Edited 13 hours ago by monkeytargets39 Quote

tiger2022 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) The bullpen didn't want to start a new trend of being effective. Why break precedence? Great idea to walk the guy before Ramirez comes up to bat. And the walk to Martinez royally screwed the team over. Edited 13 hours ago by tiger2022 Quote

It's not like the Guardian line-up is so great top to bottom. Edited 13 hours ago by gehringer_2 Quote
tiger2022 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) And the walk to Martinez was a back breaker. Why do relievers have to average a walk an inning? To a guy hitting .229 with a .630 OPS. That's inexcusable. Edited 13 hours ago by tiger2022 Quote
motownblues Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Isn't this typical of what our sports teams do to us. Quote
lordstanley Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Jason B talks about the full count being a gargantuan pitch. Which ends up in a double play. Quote

Your serious benchmark for firing A.J. is whether he intentionally walks Jose Ramirez each and every time he comes to the plate? Makes it look like you're just looking for any excuse to dump him.
