chasfh Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago If this is actually true, I cannot imagine that MLB simply doesn’t care if they lose fans. 2 Quote

It's not the only factor, but I think it could have an influence. The reason they have that incentive is to encourage teams to promote players on opening day rather than wait a month into the season. Tiger337 Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago That debate is over. Harris found his balls last week and the team is all his now. Quote

I get ESPN unlimited with my DIRECTV subscription, so I think I’m good. I also get MLB TV with my DirecTV extra inning subscription, so I can see it on TV or online for a single subscription. Quote

I am seeing that ESPN Unlimited is part of the Youtube subscription, but somplace else I saw that you can watch MLB with youtube. I probably wont know until I try to watch a game. Quote

But I really don’t see many older fans having an ability to do that. Quote

Nearly all the important players from the last 2 years were guys Avila brought in. That's why I don't understand the posters on here gushing in their pants about Scott Harris. I wasn't an Avila fan, but Harris has done little to nothing to help the mlb team; things just kind of worked out. And while he has helped the minor league system, let's wait until those guys accomplish something in the majors before people annoint them as future hall of famers. Quote
Tenacious D Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The recent Evan Petzold pod with Al Avila was excellent. Definitely put things in perspective—25 out of the 40-man are Avila players and he was candid about what went right and what didn’t. Even Chas’ cold, stony heart would be warmed a bit after a listen. 1 Quote
