Deleterious Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Season's first version of xRAPM has been released. You want a negative number for defense. Numbers in () are what percentile they are in compared to the rest of the league. For context, 4 players are in the 99 percentile. SGA and Jokic both with 9.0. Luka with a 7.4 and then Victor with a 6.4. It measures a player's contribution to a team's performance by analyzing on-court point differentials (plus-minus) while accounting for factors like the quality of teammates and opponents. Unlike traditional plus-minus, RAPM uses a technique called ridge regression to improve accuracy and handle irregularities in the data Quote
Deleterious Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Sasser is questionable tonight. For Dallas, and this one will shock you, AD is out. So are Exum and Lively. Gafford and Russell are questionable. Quote

IDK - That's a world I'm happy to be a disinterested observer of. I am interested in the integrity of major league sports though. Any idea that they could be just another take on WWE (i.e. fixed - whether by entertainment managers or gamblers being immaterial) pretty much drains the interest for me. Deleterious Posted November 2 Posted November 2 30-27 Dallas at the end of one. At least we are not down 15. Quote
Deleterious Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Down 61-59 at the half. For a good defensive team, they give up so many wide open three point attempts. Quote
