Was that Morton giving the fan base the finger with the most complicated screen pass of all time?

I don't know, but that 2-point conversion was MCDC telling the Commanders to go F themselves.

great  that fox is updating us

Player gets ejected, TV crew is clueless as to why. Come back from commercial, still nothing.

For as much hate as coordinators and kickers get with the “there aren’t 32 better in the world?!” line, the same can go for announcing crews IMO.

Dan is calling the plays.

Did MCDC really take over the play calling for the offense or is it just fan speculation?

I think it’s probably speculation. But he’ll be asked postgame and he’s a truth teller to the media.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he took a more active role on the offense this week, but I doubt he’s unilaterally taken over play calling.

Whatever they're doing, keep it up. Lions revenge games are awesome. Next up...the Packers. Then the Vikings.

He took over.  The radio broadcast mentioned it at the beginning of the game and the TV broadcast showed Dan with the play sheet calling in a play when the Lions were on offense.

Multiple media sources say he has.
