buddha Posted Wednesday at 02:48 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:48 AM might be the best win of the season. they got outplayed in the second, but didnt give up ans stayed with one of the best teams in the league for the rest of the game. fix the third pair at the deadline, get kane back healthy, KEEP RAYMOND AND LARKIN HEALTHY, and maybe you have something... gehringer_2 Posted Wednesday at 06:40 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:40 AM (edited) Chippy game. I don't think these two teams like each other much. But even some good shifts by Rasmussen early leading to the assist. But as the game went on I seemed to be progressively less aware of his presence. Edited Wednesday at 06:44 AM by gehringer_2 Quote
sagnam Posted Wednesday at 11:53 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:53 AM 3-on-3 OT hockey is the best idea the league has had in a long time. It’s still hockey but opening up the ice really does make it exciting and dangerous. I’d be willing to extend it to 10 minutes and drop shootouts entirely. Quote

Dude. That pass was unfair. Sure it was a nice finish by Larkin, but I can't believe that JVR wasn’t the center of that celebration. Quote

I don't know if there is a 3 on 3 first line in the league any better than Larkin, Seider and Raymond. Edited Wednesday at 03:20 PM by gehringer_2 Quote
Shinzaki Posted Friday at 07:41 PM Posted Friday at 07:41 PM And then you can roll Kane, Cat and Simon..or ASP Quote

Shinzaki Posted Saturday at 07:47 PM Posted Saturday at 07:47 PM Grew up accross from a park with a big pond that we played pond hockey on in the winter. I painted number 20 on the outer heel of my skates to emulate Mickey Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 12:30 AM Posted yesterday at 12:30 AM Gibson looks like **** so far tonight. Multiple rebounds in which he had his glove on the puck but it squeaks out in front of him and somehow... 2nd and 3rd attempts are just... missing. Seider saved a goal with a redirect over the net. The side of the net saved us a goal. And Gibson scrambled for control back over those other squibbler rebounds. He needs to get on top of his glove/ puck control and stop relying on Lady Luck... Please. But... Anyways... Thank you, Lady Luck. Now can we go out and try to win this game guys? Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 12:31 AM Posted yesterday at 12:31 AM Because it's still 0-0 after all those near misses... Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 12:33 AM Posted yesterday at 12:33 AM Gibson = faked out to the far right of the net = Hurricane missed the wide open left of the net. Again... thank you Lady Luck. Oh... and the Red Wings just scored! So SWEET! Ras scores... Quote

1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM Losing 2-1 early in the 2nd... No more Lady Luck. They're outshooting us 22-7 so far... Might want to start there. Quote

lordstanley Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Ugly 2nd period but the Wings have clawed one back in the 3rd. 3-2 Carolina with 13 minutes to go. Quote
buddha Posted yesterday at 03:20 AM Posted yesterday at 03:20 AM welp, carolina has been a bad matchup for detroit for a while. 1 Quote

lordstanley Posted yesterday at 03:23 AM Author Posted yesterday at 03:23 AM No surprise losing to the East's top team. Nip things in the bud with a win over the Leafs tomorrow. Quote

sagnam Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Edvinsson taking that shot to the skate and not being able to get to his feet was very concerning. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) Maple leafs make it 2-1 on some weak play in their own zone by Chairot and ASP. Edited 9 hours ago by gehringer_2 Quote
lordstanley Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago Down go the Leafs! Overtime winner for Edvinsson Quote
