I had read earlier on Twitter a flu bug was going around the Wings. Update: wait, Sheldon Dries played 63 games for the Canucks a few years ago but I’ve never heard this name in my life? Am I just sleepwalking though life? Edited 10 hours ago by lordstanley Quote

Sports_Freak Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Hulu games suck, big time. Trying to wade thru all their ads, clicking the wrong button and starting all over makes me want to throw the remote outside in the snow. And now the cat is hiding...😾 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Finally find the game and it doesn't start until 7:30...lol. Some stupid talking head just said he doesn't believe the Wings are for real and he expects a huge 2nd half collapse. Idiot... Quote

Not sure it makes him an idiot for expecting the same result when they are pretty much the same thing from last year (less the out of body first half from Gibson). Quote
slothfacekilla Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Edvinsson to IR, may just be making room for bodies with the flu stuff going around. Guessing Dries sits in the press box the whole time if everything goes to plan. Danielson got hurt in GR I know that Quote

Making predictions on past performances is shortsighted. Have faith in Stevie, if the Wings miss the playoffs this season, his days may be numbered. Quote
lordstanley Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago Habs, Sabres and Bruins have all jumped out to 2-goal 1st period leads and the Wings game hasn't even started yet. Quote

Have faith in Stevie, if the Wings miss the playoffs this season, his days may be numbered. if they miss because they suddenly run into more injuries beyond Edvinsson, it's a 'what can you do' situation. But if they are relatively healthy and collapse again, with a previously successful and experienced coach, then you have to start thinking about rebuilding around a different core - like maybe a Larkin trade. I think the Olympics are going to be a major test for Larkin's captainship. If he doesn't take care of himself and come back healthy, then he is too selfish about his personal goals to be a team captain on a winner. Edited 7 hours ago by gehringer_2 Quote
Shinzaki Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Yes!! Kane has been a joy to watch here in Detroit. Hlad to see him get the record Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Now we just need Kane to pass Brett Hull so we can stop hearing how he's the top scoring American in history. Kane needs 17 points and has 27 games after tonight to get it done. Quote
lordstanley Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Caps regain the lead. The East's #1,2,4,5,6,7 and 8 teams have all won tonight. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Thought the Wings had a legit argument with the glove push but I didn't have the sound on so I'm not sure what the reasoning was Quote
