Particularly at the talent/speed positions (RB, WR, CB) and the interior trenches (particularly IDL). I also don't think Jordan Love would still be a starting quarterback in the NFL on many other teams. So to the extent he gets the most out of the least, he deserves some credit for routinely making the playoffs. That being said, I also don't think they're winning a Super Bowl with him. It's not all that dissimilar from the Ravens problem. He seems to have hit a ceiling, but it's not clear if that's a talent issue or a coaching issue, and if you fire him he instantly gets a job and probably makes you look stupid when he pulls a Mike Vrabel. Motown Bombers Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Atlanta is hiring a new GM too, so I don't think the coach is tied to Penix. The Miami job may be the worst one. You have an albatross in Tua, a bad cap situation, Hill is probably done, and not a whole lot left. That is a complete gut job. It could've reminds me of the Lions circa 2021 but they don't have an asset like Stafford to trade. Quote

I sincerely doubt that either will seriously improve as an organization until a Martha Hamp falls into their laps. I'd put it Ravens >>> Giants >> Cardinals > Titans > Falcons > Dolphins > Browns > Raiders Quote

The Browns head coach still has to deal with Watson and the circus that is Sanders. Quote
sagnam Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I’d put Falcons #2. They have a great core on offense without the injury problems and are not tied to a big QB salary. They also play in a winnable division. I have to think the Dolphins are only above the Raiders simply due to Tua. I’m personally higher on the Browns than either the Cardinals or Titans. I guess the Titans depends on if Cam is the real deal or not. Also, if the Ravens magic is over on defense that job could be a trap. Lamar and Henry are reaching their shelf life on running in the NFL. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Lamar and Henry may be nearing the end, but the Ravens are a well run organization so I would be confident in my future with them. They stuck with Harbaugh for 18 years so they don't just fire coaches randomly. Quote
sagnam Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I agree. Just thinking that if the defense is slipping and Lamar and Henry suddenly fall off a cliff, maybe this team is just riding the tail end of the Ozzie Newsome wave. Or maybe not. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago With the Ravens off the table, I like the Giants job. Quote
