gehringer_2 Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 Michigan gets to frozen four. After leading comfortably 4-0 at the end of 2, Quinnipiac completely dominated the 1st 4/5 of the 3rd, cutting the lead to 4-3. But with M back on its heals Quinnipiac got a little too greedy and pulled their goalie with over 3 min left. M scored an ENG almost immediately to put the game out of doubt. 1 Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 We have a loaded roster this year. We've been favored to win it all most of the season and we're in a position to do it now. Win won for Red! Quote
gehringer_2 Posted August 6, 2022 Author Posted August 6, 2022 (edited) Pearson out as Hockey coach at M. Athletic dept maybe cleaning up their loose ends before Ono officially takes over. Not actually fired as his contract had run already run out and had not been renewed, but he was still acting coach until someone (Ono? Manuel certainly could already have let him go if he had wanted to) finally made a call on the whether to offer him a deal or show him the door. Edited August 6, 2022 by gehringer_2 Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 27th last year and now 28th this year. 5-2 win over MSU to make it this go-around, after MSU beat them in OT for the B1G Championship about a week ago. All those appearances but it's been a minute since they last won it all in 1998. Made it in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008, 2011, 2018, 2022, and 2023 without winning two more. They've actually only even made the championship once in that run, 2011. Sounds like they're due! Quote
