Motor City Sonics Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago (edited) LaGrange starting for the Yankees today, so of course I thought of this. And the guy without the long beard is named Beard, because of course. Edited 7 hours ago by Motor City Sonics 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I’m not sure what “Tigers TV“ means. If it means that we get one of our own broadcasts that would be awesome. And radio as well is cool. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Right now it’s 80° in Tampa and sunny. Perfect - damn perfect - for this game. Quote

We'll probably see him start at some point. He wasn't bad last year. I could see him as a long reliever to start the season. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Well, even though the TV feed says Detroit TV it’s the Yankees TV feed. I guess I’ll just have to see how Dan Dickerson’s radio feed is synchronized with the picture. I’m watching on mlb.tv. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The Detroit radio feed that is going with the TV feed is about a second behind Quote
IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago McGonigle gets an opposite field single, and Torres follows with a single as well. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Ball gets by the catcher throw goes into the left field McGonnigal scores. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The black Road jerseys with the orange accent are way cool. 1 Quote
chasfh Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I don’t get to watch this game, or any spring training game not on MLB Network, because my access to MLB.tv is tethered to my Directv Extra Innings package, which does not kick in until Opening Day. And, inexplicably, MLB Network is not running the Yankees game. Edited 4 hours ago by chasfh 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Corey Julks homers (1) on a fly ball to left field. Quote

There's only one or two open spots, barring injury. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Non roster invitee Smith with a history of arm trouble gives up a home run to Aaron Judge, which is not surprising. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Judge hits a Spring Training home run off a 35 year old pitcher who has a career ERA near 6 and the Yankee announcers are pretty much declaring him MVP for 2026. 2 Quote
IdahoBert Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Dan D. on the radio feed said that the ABS at the minor league level generated one extra walk per game. If you do that at the major league level, that will have an effect on pitching staffs in terms of the duration of outings during a game and all sorts of stuff I’m assuming. 1 Quote

When I say he'll probably start at some point, that means I am assuming there will be injuries. A team should have 8 viable starters at the beginning of the season. I think he's one of the 8 along with Melton , Anderson and the top 5. Melton and Anderson would probably be ahead of him. A couple of them may start in Toledo. 1 Quote
