From a guy that thinks it is insane and crazy that Biden was allowed to hide from the American people so his decline wasn't seen even though I would have still preferred him over Trump....**** you Hunter. He needs to shut the hell up, he's a major reason Biden didn't win too and ultimately that was his own fault. Clooney simply pointed out what was becoming evident to some and the Biden family wanted to keep that hidden from the electorate. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Weird how Biden was in cognitive decline but also the most successful president since Johnson. No one didn't vote for Biden because of Hunter. His whole laptop and Ukraine dealings were the whole focus of the 2020 campaign. Quote

Weird how a guy that has no interest in governing and would rather just golf is one of the worst presidents ever. It's about who is around them. Biden had credible people around him that governed at minimum, alright. I'm not ready to say he's the most successful since Johnson, still need some time to see how his policies shake out, but there was a reason I was willing to vote for a guy that I wouldn't have been surprised if he spent all day eating pudding, watching the game show network, and telling his family how Beau came to visit him today. Back to Hunter, seriously f that guy. His actions, and how Biden/DNC lied to defend him definitely caused voter suppression once people started to learn the full truth about the type of person he is and how the left was willing to try and pull the wool over everyone's eyes about it. Was he the whole reason, not even close, but he's part of the problem and I'd prefer he stay out of the cameras as all that will do it further stain his fathers legacy. Quote

Speaking of shaking out Biden's policies, that is basically Trump Job #1. Quote

I watched the full interview and everything from his voice, to his mannerisms, to his hand gestures are exactly like Joe. For instance when he was talking about Clooney, he said God bless him, that's classic Joe when you know he's going to drop the hammer. Quote

The DNC didn't do ****. Everyone knew about Hunter. In fact, Biden could have ended the investigation into Hunter whenever he wanted to and didn't. Democrats accurately stated that Hunter is not running for president and Hunter didn't have any role in the White House like Don Junior and Ivanka did. Quote
Hongbit Posted July 22 Posted July 22 (edited) I probably agree with Hunter on the state of the Democratic Party and the roles of some of the people he mentioned. He’s blaming all these people for pushing his dad out and ignoring what happened at the debate. Everything changed after that. If Joe could’ve kept it together that night, nothing happens and he’s still the nominee. I say this with the full assumption that both Hunter and the party leaders knew that Joe was in cognitive decline and would most likely not complete the term if elected. They chose to push it under the rug and hope they could get across the finish line before it became evident. They missed by 3 months. The decision to back Harris turned into an even bigger mistake. Motown Bombers Posted July 22 Posted July 22 If the Dems knew Joe was in cognitive decline, then they should have ran in the primary specifically running on that instead of staging a coup. It's bull****. Biden was not in cognitive decline. Quote

I don't think we really disagree much on what that laptop really showed. It was mostly just an embarrassment for Joe. But, the DNC and Biden knew and they chose to lie. Simple fact. I know you're fine getting lied to by someone with a D next to their name because you're fine listening to their excuse, but a lot of people, especially those that don't tend to lean left or right per se don't like it. Again, I'm not saying he was the main reason, but he was part of the problem and certainly a much bigger problem then Clooney, Carville, and Axelrod combined were. Quote

Absolutely, but instead of trying to confirm, Dems chose to ignore legitimate signs of trouble, like no cabinet meetings, and rallied around him instead and accepting the excuses Jill and Hunter were providing to the rest of the admin staff. Another example how Hunter helped screw the democrat party. Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Kamala Harris announced today she is not running for Governor in California. I was surprised to see that she wasn't going to run because she would have been a shoe in to win. I hope this puts former Congresswoman Katie Porter in as the frontrunner now. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Katie Porter literally lost to Steve Garvey. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago This probably makes it likely she will be running again in 2028. Her campaign should be like the episode of The Simpsons where Homer is trash commissioner because he ran on empty promises. The original garbage commissioner comes back after Homer crashes and burns and says you're all ****ed. Quote

Probably a losing proposition, but likely nonetheless. I'd prefer an easy hold of the Governorship in CA over a bruising primary that has a high probability of pitting the party insider favorite (Harris) against someone who emerges that may be a lot more popular with general election voters.
