lordstanley Posted yesterday at 01:46 AM Author Posted yesterday at 01:46 AM I’m in a Montreal sports bar watching the Sharks and Habs. The Habs and Wings seem to be on different trajectories. Quote
lordstanley Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM A team should be able to sustain a couple of injuries without sinking into bottom 7 team. 2-0 Dallas early in the 3rd. Quote
lordstanley Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Edvinsson makes it 2-1. Still 12 minutes to go. No time like the present to prove all of us wrong. Quote
lordstanley Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM Raymond ties it late. Really, really need a point or more here Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM Posted yesterday at 02:34 AM Showed some balls tonight. Showed some fight. Getting a point out of this is good, but let's get two ! Quote
Jason_R Posted yesterday at 02:38 AM Posted yesterday at 02:38 AM They hung in there. Didn’t deserve to win but came away with a point. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM A point is more than I expected from tonight so I'll take it. Quote
lordstanley Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago On a point percentage basis, the Wings are 9th in the East and out of playoff position. On a points basis, 1 point up on Columbus with Columbus having a game in hand. The Wings are finished the toughest part of the schedule, having played 9 of the past 11 on the road. 9 of their remaining 15 games (including 5 of the next 7) are at home. Quote

lordstanley Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago Wings have lost 10 of their past 14 games. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I'm shocked they got a point off the Stars on the road with that lineup, but it is great to see them battle back a bit with Raymond and Edvinsson scoring too. From what I saw, Perron looked pretty old but it sure was nice having his style of play/attitude back Quote
buddha Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago honestly, if they make the playoffs this year with larkin and copp again missing significant time late in the year, it will be a miracle. Quote
lordstanley Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago Am at Le Centre Bell for Habs-Ducks. If I spot any exploitable vulnerabilities in the Habs I will try to let the Wings’ brass know before Thursday. 1 Quote
