I’m in a Montreal sports bar watching the Sharks and Habs. The Habs and Wings seem to be on different trajectories.

 A team should be able to sustain a couple of injuries without sinking into bottom 7 team. 2-0 Dallas early in the 3rd.

Edvinsson makes it 2-1. Still 12 minutes to go. No time like the present to prove all of us wrong.

Showed some balls tonight.  Showed some fight.   Getting a point out of this is good, but let's get two !

They hung in there. Didn’t deserve to win but came away with a point.

A point is more than I expected from tonight so I'll take it.

On a point percentage basis, the Wings are 9th in the East and out of playoff position. On a points basis, 1 point up on Columbus with Columbus having a game in hand. 
 

The Wings are finished the toughest part of the schedule, having played 9 of the past 11 on the road. 9 of their remaining 15 games (including 5 of the next 7) are at home.

I'm shocked they got a point off the Stars on the road with that lineup, but it is great to see them battle back a bit with Raymond and Edvinsson scoring too.

From what I saw, Perron looked pretty old but it sure was nice having his style of play/attitude back

honestly, if they make the playoffs this year with larkin and copp again missing significant time late in the year, it will be a miracle.

Am at Le Centre Bell for Habs-Ducks. If I spot any exploitable vulnerabilities in the Habs I will try to let the Wings’ brass know before Thursday.
