Sports_Freak Posted yesterday at 01:01 AM Posted yesterday at 01:01 AM Toronto had a lane violation on one of their free throws, nullifying it. Does that go down as a missed free throw? Quote

Deleterious Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM So much of the Pistons offense is triggered by their defense. Much of that is triggered by Ausar. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted yesterday at 02:49 AM Posted yesterday at 02:49 AM Magic number is two to win the East. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted yesterday at 02:54 AM Posted yesterday at 02:54 AM Pistons are 6-2 since Cade got hurt....7-2 if you count the game he got hurt, he only played a few minutes in that one. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Pistons are getting NO respect. They keep winning without Cade and they took OKC to OT on the road without Cade and Duren. I hope this motivates them Quote
Deleterious Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Lucky for all of the "no respect" people the NBA has a mechanism for teams to earn respect. It starts in 2 1/2 weeks. 1 Quote

I think they are showing that the Pistons are more than Cade and the 11 Dwarves. Ausar, Duren and Tobias aren't half bad, and Daniss manages to hold his own. Quote
Deleterious Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago 11-4 without Cade this year. The 15 opponents they played have a winning% of 44.2%. So a back of the draft lottery level opponent. Quote

I think most looked at how easy the schedule was and figured they would still finish 1st in the east. A try hard team like Detroit is in perfect position to overcome injuries. They win games by playing hard every night and don't rely on talent as a crutch like a lot of teams. Huge credit to JB for getting that out of his team. Some of us have questioned if that advantage goes away in the playoffs. No odd travel, no Nets/Bulls/Pelicans in 3 of their next 4 games, no fake injuries to rest, teams will all be playing hard, etc. I do think they will struggle to win a series without Cade. The good news is, it sounds like he will be back for the playoffs. Quote
