the bulls are such a waste of an organization.  if they had decent ownership they could be dominant.

This is what happens when max contract values are attached to winning these otherwise superficial individual awards.

That is the odd thing about him appealing.  It has nothing to do with his contract.  Only the team that drafted you can give you a supermax, so he wasn't even eligible.  His deal expires after he has 10 years in the league.  Anyone with 10 years is eligible for the 35% max contract and there is no supermax at that level.

I think you pretty much have to be an asshole to hire guys like Isiah Thomas and Mateen Cleaves.
