Jack is a guy I'd like to see Hinch give a less rope than he usually does. Sure he works his way out sometimes, but I think the probability of an inning going south for Jack in a hurry is high enough I'd be willing to give up the times he gets out  of it. Esp when he's at his third or 4th jam.

They love that he's a high K guy, but if he's going to give it right back up in walks and HBP the WHIP ends up so-so and the results likewise.

Its really hard to watch. It was against a young and inexperienced team too. That would have been an even worse outing against a more veteran team.

He is pitching like a guy who had a a 6+ ERA with three MLB organizations prior to the Tigers and couldn't make the Tigers team in 2025.
