IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Kevin McGonigle homers (1) on a fly ball to right center field. The first of 500. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I wouldn't give up the ball unless you have me season tickets for the next 20 years. That ball could end up being worth 6 figures if McGonigle has a HOF type career. Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago In this economy, I’d hang onto that ball until someone gave me a Miguel Cabrera/Dontrelle Willis for Burke Badenhop/Cameron Maybin deal Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Having no hit stuff and actually getting a no hitter are totally different things. Having no hit stuff means you're a very good pitcher with really good stuff. Getting an actual no hitter takes a bit of luck. Tork catches that foul pop up and we're still anxious...but Skubal has no hit stuff. Quote

He may struggle at times this season, most hitters have cold stretches. Especially young players who aren't used to playing such a long season. Many times, they wear down. Keeping slumps as short as possible is key, don't be like Riley. Quote
