Deleterious Posted Sunday at 05:29 PM Posted Sunday at 05:29 PM Duren is out but everyone else seems to be playing. A little shocked by that to be honest. Across the league, most people who are not playing for seeding or to qualify for post season awards is not playing today. Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 05:57 PM Posted Sunday at 05:57 PM The 9/10 game is locked, only who is hosting remains to be determined. Since Charlotte just needs a W to host, they probably get it since all the Knicks are out. CLE-ATL will be an interesting series. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted yesterday at 12:31 AM Posted yesterday at 12:31 AM I didn't see a 60 win season coming. Even with all the injuries, we just kept winning. The worse loss all season, IMO, was the loss to the Nets when they came back in the last few minutes. That stunk. But so many close game wins this season made it a very special year. 60 wins... 1 Quote

From 14 wins to 60 in two seasons - without getting a superstar - that's incredible. J.B. has to get coach of the year this year. Should have had it last year. 2 Quote

While I think 60 wins in crazy impressive, I'll defer to George's opinion. 50 years doing games give him a lot of credibility. I remember listening to him on the radio when I was a teenager...and I'm 66 now. Lol Quote

Remember the "Going to Work" starting 5? I remember they started an incredible number of games in a row together. We'll never see that again... Quote

DTroppens Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The gap between games once you start is pretty painful for me as well, especially in the early rounds. I wouldn't mind seeing them go back to five games in the opening round. Quote
Deleterious Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 5 game first round series probably just means more gaps in the schedule. They want the Finals to finish up mid-June so that flows into the draft a week or two later, which flows into free agency a week later, which flows into summer league a week later. Then the entire offseason is wrapped up before the 900 pound gorilla opens training camp at the end of July. Quote

Because the finals will be scheduled to end middle of June either way. 5 game series equals less possible games in the same time frame. I don't mind the gaps the first round or two because I have other games to watch. Its the conference finals and finals where it bugs me. You might not see a team play for 2-3 nights. You almost forget there is a series going on. Quote
