UCFKNIGHT Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'm not happy with this most recent loss to the Red Sox, but I'm relieved Scott Harris didn't sign Skubal to a long term $200 million dollar contract. Skubal's value to other MLB teams just plummeted to $21 million over the next three seasons. Skubal must prove he can pitch in high leverage situations again. Quote

Tiger337 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Apparently, Ricky Vanasco does not understand how pitching chaos works. Quote

UCFKNIGHT Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I thought the Tigers equipment managers donated those city connect uniforms to the Salvation Army? I hate that look. Edited 1 hour ago by UCFKNIGHT Quote
IdahoBert Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I like the City Connects. It looks like something out of Tron and they’re going to kill robots. Tron good robots bad. Quote
UCFKNIGHT Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It's not time to panic. Greene and McGonigle have been drawing their share of walks, but the tigers lineup just isn't clutch in 2-out situations. I'm hoping for a miracle and better results with RISP soon. Quote

The Tigers are batting .318 with an .889 OPS with two outs and runners in scoring position. Quote

Tonight’s curious lineup notwithstanding, the offense seems in almost every respect better this year than last, except maybe HRs. And I think those will come. Yet every time someone strikes out in a key situation or a hot pitcher stymies the offense for a few frames the complaints about the offense emerge. Baseball fans being baseball fans I guess. 1 Quote
