They don't have much swing and miss in the bullpen..has never been a thing with Harris. I have no idea why.

Sticking to the platoon system with guys can't replicate outlier seasons. That's why it looks so hapless sometimes.

Greene, Dingler, and McGonigle will be around after the lockout ends. I can't say who they should commit to beyond that.

We can't do anything about the pitching..there is just natural attrition and guys get hurt. We will get some injured guys back and others will get hurt.

I completely agree with you on the platoon and outlier seasons.  I guess the question is did they lazily sit on these players without looking to move them?  Could they move them or did other teams see how these were outlier seasons?

I wonder specifically about Carpenter.  If a team has much of its offense dependent upon a guy that is deployed only in a platoon, that’s probably a guy to move on from.  But then you throw in his defense, his lack of durability, maybe there wasn’t much of a market for him.

I feel like Carpenter as a DH in Yankee Stadium would hit 50-60 HRs.

Carpy is always hurt and his performance is never complete for a full season.

Agree, mixed bag.  Some hits.  Some misses.  We thought the minors was going in the right direction.  I don’t know, is it?

How much of the pitching lack of health fall on Harris’ responsibility?
