Vierling is definitely a better RF, but he's also our 3rd CF.   The fact that they are putting Mckinstry there now, shows that they (rightfully) don't believe Perez is a good option.

Which is weird because Perez seems like he’s somehow better in CF than RF (but bad at both)

I think the bad at both is the reason.  Hopefully he is soon to become our Jones replacement as primarily facing LH, but can go and somewhat play in the field unlike Jones.

Everybody in the dugout ignoring Colt was a conspiracy. I wonder how long that was planned. It couldn't have been spontaneous, could it?

6th time in nine June games that the Tigers have scored at least 7 runs. That matches how many times the Tigers scored at least 7 runs in the 60 games between March 26 and May 31.

Getting Carpenter and Torres back makes a big difference to the rest of the lineup.
