The camera cut away but it looked like he wasn't going to run out a pop up last night. Quote

Walker was a guy I had thought I would have liked us to take a run at, although in retrospect I can see that was never going to happen because that would have required us to cut bait on Tork. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Watching last night‘s game and when they focused on a husband and wife with Tigers jerseys in the stands, I noticed that the husband has the home jersey with the new D logo, but the wife has the old school D logo on hers. She is definitely “a keeper.“ Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Is the Tigers physical training staff or whatever the heck they’re called deficient, or are they just having bad luck? Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 16 Posted June 16 So are the Astros aware of the fact that all they have to do is insert a left hander in the third or fourth inning and they can yank Colt Keith - who has probably already homered - out of the lineup to make way for a “specialist?” Quote

There is no free lunch - if doing one thing means you can't maximize something else that is more directly performance related we all know how that decision will go. Quote

GalagaGuy Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Baseball players are the biggest babies. Hockey players take the ice with broken bones and torn ligaments while baseball players need time off because they think they felt something. Quote
