You really had me going for a second there man. JV today? On a lighter note, I hope Skubal’s boys are OK today.

So, I'm curious to know how that conversation went with a female trainer out there to check on him.

I'm sure it's a subject that's been beaten to death, so to speak.

I am willing to wager that the lead off hitter for the Astros will not hit a home run tonight! I am confident! I am not a whiner!

Told ya’!

Melton is really dealing. I hope he doesn’t have an athletic cup malfunction tonight. Apparently there are more things to worry about than I have ever thought of and now this is another one.

Not a lot happening in this game so far. Not a lot to talk about. Keep seeing lots of ads on mlb.tv for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 coming out October 23. Grand Theft Auto VI, on the other hand, is so far doing no traditional ads because they don’t have to. I’m really looking forward to watching my son play the game. It should be truly epic.

Exposing a young child to a game like this could turn them into football fans, or devotees cage fighting. They need parental supervision to explain why this is so good. Of course, if they got into demolition derby’s, I would be OK with that, because I’ve been to a couple and it was freaking awesome.

But watching a game like this could turn them into soccer fans. Or fans of rooting for paint to dry. Or the exciting event of watching grass grow.

I will admit that a 0–0 soccer game can be truly nailbiting. But I don’t go out of my way to expose myself to that experience.
