IdahoBert Posted June 26 Posted June 26 No hitter over. Good. Now it’s time to score 6 runs you big palookas. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I could see no scoring multiple runs against yhe good NY pitching but this is ridiculous. Guy has what? A 5 ERA? Quote

IdahoBert Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I know there’s people here who revere Al Avila, but can we blame not having Isaac Paredes on him? Should we be upset about this? I mean, we did at least get Austin Meadows for him… 1 Quote

They’ve got only two guys left. We’ve got four. We’ve got Jones, and Jake, and Matty, and Ben Malgeri who has a .333 career BA. Quote

kdog Posted June 26 Posted June 26 The Tigers are playing basically how the team was designed to start the season..they just had a 4-21 stretch where everything went wrong. Offense was ok when healthy, now it's reliant on guys who aren't consistent enough aside from McGonigle and Dingler. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted June 26 Posted June 26 can't wait to see the Tigers go 1-2-3 on 7 pitches in the 9th. Quote
NorthWoods Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Good thing we have Dirks to tell us that scoring a run in the 9th is a good thing for the Astros Quote
chasfh Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Come on, this guy’s not even a closer. We gotta do something with him. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I think the Astros’ starter may actually have had decent movement on his pitches tonight. Our guys seemed to be swinging at stuff where the ball was nowhere close to where they thought it would be. Maybe they suck but they obviously didn’t read the movement on his pitches well. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Dillon Dongler! too bad about that HOU insurance run from the top of the inning. Quote
chasfh Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Good thing Joey Cora isn’t first base coach or Riley would be out at second right now. Quote
